About me

Pablo Avanzini

Ferrol, 1963.

A self taught photographer I started as an amateur in the early 80s. My interest in nature, rural and urban landscape, seascapes and, above all, the Tall Ships, have taken me to develop a photographic and editorial activity. My work has been published in specialized magazines, photography books and exhibited in Galleries. Some of my images have been purchased by private collectors. Currently I live in the island of Mallorca.

In 2004 I built a personal virtual gallery on the internet with the idea of sharing my photographs with family and friends. To my surprise I received my first request for a photograph to be published on a magazine, from a complete stranger who just happened to “surf” into my site. This way, the thought of turning a serious hobby into a business began to take shape...

Having served as a naval officer for over 24 years, a virtual encounter with world class tall ship photographer Thad Kozad was about to change my career life towards my lifelong passion, photography. We exchanged books and Thad wrote on a copy of his 4th edition Tall Ships: The Fleet for the 21st Century, "Pablo, you can't change the wind but you can change direction!. Fair winds!", thus I did.

  • Unlike a typical photo, our fine art media (papers and ink) will last for many decades while providing a rich and elegant look. Virtually all fine art reproductions sold at galleries are made using the same traditional methods that we use for every single order. This proces makes fine art media the best choice for framing and display work.
  • Fanatical customer service to include telephone access. Art is personal!
  • Quality products, quality craftsmanship
  • Over 5.5 million combinations of mats, papers, frames and glass.

100% money back guarantee on all prints

  • Traditionally, custom framed prints cannot be returned. (Imagine the reaction at your local frame shop if you came to pick up your framing and told them that you had changed your mind!) However, we understand you may have some hesitation about ordering an item you have only seen on your monitor. We are confident of the quality of our merchandise. So, we offer you our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
  • Of course, as rarely happens, if your art is damaged on arrival, we will immediately ship an identical replacement to you at no charge.
  • We're confident in the quality and reliability of our merchandise. But, if you’re not satisfied with your art, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund of the print's purchase price.

or you can access the site's gallery:

  • Click on the shopping cart icon located under the image.
  • Click on the 'Order Print' button and follow the instructions to order your print.
  • I will reply via email to arrange payment and shipping details. I accept bank account transfer and credit cards (via PayPal).
  • Your print will not include the copyright text in the image.
  • You can request black and white prints of color images.
  • Prints are made with an Epson R2400 printer and Epson's Ultrachrome K3 pigment ink technology, on Epson Archival Matte Paper. This combination provides excellent print life and stability.
  • The sizes listed are in inches and refer to the paper size, not the image size. Paper and image aspect ratios do not always match exactly. Whichever paper size you choose, the image will be enlarged to fill the long dimension of the print paper.
  • For Canvas Photo on Frame the image is transferred using a high-tech dye printing method onto high-quality italian artist canvas. The canvas is made of a cotton mix fabric (360 gr/m²), which has been optimized for durabilty and colour brilliance. A professional varnish wich protects the Canvas Photo against the effects of the weather, ultraviolet radiation and scratches is applied after the printing process.
  • Each frame is made of a special type of wood manufactured in scandinavia and subject to the control of experts. If the side length is larger than 40", cross bars are added on the backside to stabilise the frame and to avoid shape distortions.
  • Shipping and Handling: Will be determined when the Order Print Request is submitted, once the size of the print and the location of the client are known. A quote will then be sent via email for approval.
  • Prints are shipped after payment is received.
  • Turnaround time: After payment is received, it takes 2-3 business days to make a print, 3-5 days to ship

Before giving out wedding invitations, you should have an idea about the wedding favors you will be giving out. Like the wedding rings, they are very special too. The theme should match with the décor or the wedding dresses, something to remember the ceremony by.
